            In palani murugan temple, there are three Man Riding Haulage Winches are operated. The 36 seater 1st Winch was installed in the year 1966, the 32 Seater 2nd Winch was installed in the year 1981 and the 36 seater 3rd Winch was installed in the year 1988.

           The capacity of winch is 36 seats and length of the way is 290 meters from base station to hill temple and travel time is only 8 minutes.

       Along the winch tracks Greenish garden is maintained, waterfalls and Lily ponds are maintained at the lower winch station.

Timing :

        Normal Days     :     5.20 A.M to 9.00 P.M.

        Festival Days     :     3.20 A.M to 9.00 P.M. 

Fare :

                There are two Queue line in winch Systems. One is Normal way, and the other one is special way.

                 There are two counters to get tickets for winch . For going up devotees can get ticket from downstair counter. For coming down there also a counter in upper station.
                The differrence between these two is only the queue system. Not for the separate train. The fare is as follows:-
